Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) is an alliance formed in 2024 through a decision to merge the tokens of projects working in decentralized artificial intelligence into a single asset. Fetch.ai and SingularityNET formed the core of the merger; Ocean Protocol initially joined the process but announced in 2025 that it was leaving the alliance. Fetch.ai's FET token was adopted as the common token in the merger; FET exists both on Ethereum and on Fetch.ai's own network.

On the Fetch.ai side, the focus is on autonomous software agents that can carry out tasks on behalf of users. Developers can build and register their agents with tools such as Agentverse; agents can discover each other, communicate and exchange services. FET is used to pay transaction fees on the Fetch.ai network, for staking with validators and as a means of payment for AI services in the alliance ecosystem.

FET's price may fluctuate with factors such as interest in AI-themed crypto projects, whether the alliance's partnerships and products turn into real-world use, supply changes stemming from the merger and competition with centralized AI companies.
