Meta xStock

Meta xStock (METAx) is a token linked to the META shares on Nasdaq of Meta Platforms, Inc., which operates the Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp platforms and develops virtual and augmented reality technologies through its Reality Labs unit. The product's issuer is Backed Assets (JE) Limited; legally, the token is a tracker certificate.

According to its CoinGecko listing, METAx is available on the Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Mantle and TON networks, can be held in personal wallets and can be used in decentralized finance protocols. Even so, the token is not a Meta share: it gives its holder no voting right and creates no direct ownership relationship with the company. Corporate actions such as dividends are reflected in the token balance through the xStocks multiplier mechanism. The product is not intended for US persons and is not offered in some jurisdictions under Backed's list of restricted countries.

On the Lzzo.com page, METAx is tracked through the identity formed by the issuer and its Ethereum contract address. The price comes from the USD pair on Kraken; if that source is not suitable, from the USDT pair on Bybit converted into dollars at the Coinbase Exchange rate, or from a sufficiently liquid Jupiter (Solana) pool. Because of weekend and after-hours trading, the token price can differ from the last close of META shares.
