Apple xStock

Apple xStock (AAPLx) is a token designed to track the price of Apple Inc. shares, which trade on Nasdaq under the ticker AAPL. Apple is a technology company that designs and sells smartphones, personal computers, tablets and wearables and also provides digital services. The token is issued under the xStocks brand as a tracker certificate by Backed Assets (JE) Limited, registered in Jersey; the tokenization service is provided by Backed Finance AG in Switzerland.

An AAPLx holder does not become an Apple shareholder; ownership rights such as voting or attending the general meeting do not pass to the token holder. The issuer's product page lists firms such as Alpaca Securities, InCore Bank and Maerki Baumann as broker and custodian for the underlying shares, as well as a security agent that protects token holders' rights. The product is not sold to US persons and is not marketed in prohibited countries; access in every jurisdiction, Türkiye included, depends on the rules of the issuer and the intermediary platform. The token is available on several networks, mainly Ethereum and Solana.
