A7A5 is a stablecoin intended to stay pegged one-to-one to the Russian ruble. According to the project description on CoinGecko, the token is issued in Kyrgyzstan by a company called Old Vector, and its reserve is said to consist of ruble deposits at banks with correspondent links to Kyrgyzstan; the project states that it distributes part of the income earned from deposit interest to token holders. The token is available on the Ethereum and Tron networks. Because it is pegged to the ruble, its US dollar price changes with the ruble exchange rate.

In August 2025, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury, in an action targeting the network linked to the Garantex crypto exchange and its successor Grinex, added Old Vector and A7, the Russian firm for whose customers the token was created, to its sanctions list. The United Kingdom added Old Vector and Grinex to its sanctions list the same month. In October 2025, the European Union adopted a sanctions package that targeted the token's developer and its Kyrgyz issuer and prohibited transactions involving A7A5 across the EU.

Because of these decisions, acquiring, transferring and trading A7A5 is legally restricted in many jurisdictions. CoinGecko also displays a GoPlus warning that the contract owner can change the token's code. Lzzo.com uses DefiLlama's US dollar reference price linked to the token's CoinGecko identity; when the source returns no current value, no estimated price is shown on the page and the price field stays empty.
