## How the Türkiye yields are calculated

Türkiye 10-Year Government Bond Yield: calculated by Lzzo.com from TCMB indicative prices (evds3.tcmb.gov.tr), one bond at a time; not an official benchmark rate. Stored history from 1 Oct 2024.

EVDS publishes no official benchmark yield for Turkish government bonds, so Lzzo.com calculates these values from the daily indicative prices of fixed-coupon Turkish lira government bonds that the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye publishes (evds3.tcmb.gov.tr).

For each maturity and day the bond whose remaining maturity is closest to 2, 5 or 10 years is used; when several are within a quarter of a year of the closest, the most recently issued one; for 10 years only bonds with at least 7 years left qualify, and a stored day keeps its bond.

The yield is the annual compound rate (actual/365) that discounts the bond’s coupons and principal to TCMB’s price including accrued interest; coupon dates are counted back from maturity in 182-day steps and confirmed by the price drops on past coupon dates.

A value dated D reflects the previous business day’s close; days without a new close (holidays) or without a price have no value, and nothing is filled in from another bond or another day.
